Maps with dangers would be cool. This was something that was promised by the devs back during the development of nilla.

Is there a way of making gaia units automatically hostile?

I find it unlikely than any competitors with a real shot at victories will attempt it again any time soon, especially considering that the IP check did catch the offenders back then. I don't know what to make of these complaints. I've always loved the fact that aoe3 went in the curios and creativity direction concerning content.

But then, I may be very out of touch with what level of outside-the-box thinking is expected in campaign stories in a history-flavoured game. Maybe peop .....

I like the nilla campaings because of the uniqueness of factions and rather bonkers but cool stories. The TWC ones barely got a replay. TAD ones feel too close to supremacy, only with worse decks and more constraints. The Chinese one is my favourite because it's based on the crackpot 1421 book.

Priests are the greatcoat of artillery (and military). They are already good, just nobody uses them.

From yesterday's stream: "...is retreating with 5 cavs, they are nearly dead, maybe 300 HP left in total". I don't remember what happened to them later, but in a standard "competitive& .....

In other games units usually have multiple resistances.
Is there a coding reason why cannot warships have range and siege resist?
Or why cannot melee cavs have both melee and range resist...
