As far as what I'm privy to there are no plans to abandon AOE3. Could you quantify abandon? This is probably left best as a personal opinion rather than a formal statement from the staff though.

Yeah. You're right. I loaded the game up and it is not clear. I think with the insider info I have I'm pretty sure QS uses the competitive mapset for 1v1. Another thing you could have a separate definition for each mountain you want and just place them at the center of each mountain and allow a variance equal to the radius of it.
