Re: What new implementations do you expect for aeo3 de?

I expect two or three new civilizations fitting to the timeline (Sweden/Poland/Italy/Hungary), given that they also add new ones to AoE2.

Re: Official AoE 4 Thread

Even if RTS has become a niche market, one should not forget that vastly more people have access to computers today than 20 years ago. The potential customer base has grown faster than the interest in RTS declined.

Data from wikipedia suggests that for the sales of Age of Empires games the following .....

could happen when the spanish consulate tech is activated that techs are researched instantly and he has enough export to send two unit shipments with cannons. also "behind my base" is possible since daimyo/shogun act as a home city shipment point as well.

I thought the Besteiro tech changes your standard xbow into Besteiros (also newly build ones)?! No need to make them "trainable" then, since it is the very xbow you build in the barracks anyway?

60% range resist would mean to reduce all ranged dmg by a further 20% effectively. That's quite a lot.

To me, the unit design for portuguese is glass cannons. Do a lot of dmg, but also break easily (cassa/organ). Further increased ranged resistance would not necessarily fit in here. If you want to i .....
