Do you want to be able to drive somewhere, or is flying okay? Northern Michigan would be a relatively easy drive and it's really beautiful there. If you enjoy lakes, you will love it. There's still a bit of light pollution, but it's probably your best option if you don't want to fly.

Prague is an amazing city. GS and I were there for a week and it didn't feel like we were there long enough and we're not party people. I want to go back.

Heterosexuals aren't ostracized, persecuted, etc. so it is less likely that people would take offense to that. But sure, if someone was using the term "hetero" to describe something negative, then I could see how that could be hurtful to some people.

That's what happens when you have little to no empathy - unable to understand how/why people would be hurt by something. It takes more courage to admit that something has hurt you than it does to bury it ("grow thicker skin").
