Scouting is a lot less important in aoe3 than in other RTS games. I can pull off a semi-ff with any civ and get away with it against 99% of the strategies my opponents will use. Meanwhile, if you don't scout a rush in SC2 then you've already lost the game before you know it in most circumstances. I .....

It's just culture and habit. If I'm playing someone I don't know in SC2 then I never say gg, but some people are keen on saying gg in every single game. When I'm playing someone I know in aoe3, I will say it to prevent sending our the wrong message, especially in tournament games. But in general, I .....

Contrary to popular belief, you don't win RTS games by being the better player. You win RTS games by being the least bad player. Most games are won due to your opponent's mistakes, especially in SC2. Forgetting to send your fortress shipment while losing two villagers to a raid can lose you the game .....
