Your bows should be able to overwhelm the yumi due to the sheer number difference. If this is not the case, you need to watch some tournament games and revise your builds. Be wary of a daimyo pop, though.
You can't win in late colonial unless you did significant damage, which doesn't tend to happen. .....

Nope. Even well into the Republic, people's allegiances were with their city or gewest, not their country. The "Dutch" parliament did not have the power to implement nation-wide laws .....

I think you're all overreacting quite a bit. As someone who has played quite a few games with and against the USA, I can confidently say that the USA does have some glaring weaknesses. The games you saw on Aussie's stream were mostly team games, which tend to play into the USA's late game strengths. .....
