I'd argue that it is the exact opposite. It's a civ that in theory has been nerfed significantly but in practice it wins games.

I mean you can't move from top to bottom edge that easily with just fingers even at 2600 DPI. And since RTS best grip is fingertip you sort of need that high DPI.
Surely you can play with sub 1000 DPI but your mouse is scrolling all over the place which is just sub-optimal to a higher DPI which is s .....

I think 400-800 in RTS is mostly an heritage of when mice didnt have custom dpi. You see old korean pros with that dpi.
2000 is not high at all, you can't even scroll from side to side of the screen without lifting your wrist. RTS is mostly using your fingers to move the mouse really.

In FPS you want low DPI to be chirurgic with your clicks, in RTS you want high DPI to put several relatively precise clicks in sequence.

According to this scenario, having area2 resulted in slightly more damage output overall, distributed mostly among the closest units.
Area 3 provided less damage output but spread over more units.

I think stuff like cannons have higher damage cap on purpose.
Anyway it's really complex. I just tried to remove damage cap from the skullknight and doesnt seem to be any difference either in area of 2 or 3 (6 or 9 units).
Does anyone knows if the game reads TWC unit stats from theprotox file rather t .....

Ok ye damage cap is quite bs. It's the reason why units with area damage taken singularly are quite bad. Basically if there are too many units in the given area of damage, the output gets diluted among too many of them often causing the actually attacked unit to not even lose a single HP (priority s .....

Area of damage is great when you have multiple units, not just one.
Also it's not clear if the unit reaches capped damage without further upgrades.
Also idk about %, it's more whether it's effective or not.

Aim buff is nice but I doubt it's enough. I don't think German colo needs both dopp and ulhan and xbow buff.

Well that's what we did nerfing ulhans by 5hp only.
And to answer why to revert, it is to buff xbows instead (a real buff, not just the aim thing). As Germans player I'd take an xbow buff over 10hp dopp buff any day. And xbow buff comes with other pros too.
Anyway it's not clear to me if ulhan hp is .....

Ye later on it is ofc insane. It's like having Ger bonus but with Spanish shipment progression. Early on is 800g instead of 1k.

That's some ugly change eh. Spanish gold is already a big change and, somewhat, it works ok. Also players have digested it, kinda. Let's not mess more with this stuff please. Not it wasnt, semi FF is just for some civs that you expect can hold the rush. The rush doesnt mean going all in.
Yes, both ways makes sense. However tomahawks, with aura, still die in 2 shots. I'd say the problem is the extra 10hp.
