Re: spain jap

Ye but you don't age with the arsenal usually.
Also still not 100% sure if AA ups are enough to beat Jap unit with ups.

Re: spain jap

Nah, if game goes on in colo Jap just wins because not only they get more eco than swedes but also having yumi is game winning. Also ashi alone are better than caroleans after ups (caroleans need arsenal and you generally don't have it in colo).
Swedes in colo are like Dutch, they're good mid game ca .....

Re: Inca build order

Using one of the travois for a farm is interesting.
Anyway I tried the strat in QS and the strat does kinda work, tho I lost an Inca mirror vs a delayed timing (and won the rematch by just making few units).
The main problems are 1) you often get caught before farm switching if you do go for max vills .....

Re: Inca build order

Are you seriously arguing that xp > resources and that shipment > vills?
4tps will take a lot to repay for the 2 shipments. Sure if you want to use the lama card for the xp it is better to send it soon. but I don't think it's ever good for that purpose, unless treaty. To me it's more for for wh .....

Re: Inca build order

300w is the standard for Inca, it is better for turtle strat too I think as it gives more of a jump start.
Anyway need someone that actually likes to play turtle style to practice the strat well. Standard play is easier and surely works. Turtle play probably plays to Inca full extent tho, so maybe if .....

Yeah the thing that balances this out is the bonus xp you have so you can send inf 600w a couple of times. I'd rather build up an XP 'battery' early which I can turn into other resources, .....

Boomy build:
- go 4v BB and 300w and age up at 800f with the 2 travois
- send koncha card while making full houses (make them as a wall). TC rally point is on wood.
- send Alpaca wool while dropping a market and a firepit

Re: Map Pool

They switched it to the competitive map set I think. Tho idk why Indonesia.

Araucania went from too few resources to shit tons of resources (way too many). 1v1 spawn has enough food for a 3v3 lol.

rof 2 is still a lot. Base ranged attack should be considerably lower then.

Considering that with 6 range you can't kite it's only barely a difference vs musks. Still it's same attack with half rof than the melee one so just worse than taking some extra melee damage.

Well this is the problem clearly. They probably forgot to change the ranged rof from old melee rof.

Aside from that having a 6 range attack should make barely no difference. Having 10% rr .....

600w, hand cav/inf ups, 15 elks, etc. Also you're missing the mine cards which are a must.

Re: DE list of issues

Ok. Anyway the cliff plays too much of a role. If one player walls from cliff to bottom it's impossible to do any action on the other side of the map as well. On pond maps (and it's still meh) at least you can sail from side to side, here it's totally impassable.

Maps have same size. Hunts now move more, they try to reach the given max radius after every shoot.
