With the current skill level in this game 10 seconds isn't gonna make a huge difference at all. Although I can already see people blaming it when they make 50 other mistakes throughout the course of the game. Easier to blame the game than to accept the fact that you're bad I guess.

I think the question isnt whether or not aoe can be better, it certainly can, but whether or not ep is making it better. However this community tends to be very closed minded so its hard to know whether or not things are really bad or just people not wanting to change.

I think #2 is most important. Going into the game with a plan is probably the most important thing you can do and easiest way to improve. Now obviously it has to be a good plan if you want to win, but even a not so good plan is probably better than doing random shit.

Yea but if otto ages with the tower you know they will make ff. If you rush and he's playing in age 2 it's auto lose for Russia.

If u scout that otto aged with the tower you could rush I guess, but if it's vs a decent player that won't work. Resign button is your best bet, or heavy water I guess

It's because the games supposed to have unique civs, every civ shouldn't be able to play lategame, every civ shouldn't be able to go water, every civ shouldn't be able to rush. So it's okay that otto is basically an auto lose late game, cause they already have several viable and strong options early...

If by a couple guys you mean basically every top level team player but kynesie and breeze and if by "those guys not wanting to adapt" you mean most players refuse to make 15 layers of wall and turn every team game into a 45 minutes plus affair than yes your statement is completely accurate.
