There are people who work on 1 monitor (excluding if it's an ultrawide which is effectively two)? I have three at both my work and home office and find that I'm incredibly inefficient whenever I have to work off just my laptop screen

Never seen that Linux adds much value for a regular user and nothing anyone has said here has done anything to change that opinion. People seem more interested in the "moral superiority" that not being attached to a Microsoft product provides. The value is that it's free but you're no lon...

It was always significantly more likely that he was a crazy leftist, although not super far fetched that he could have been a massive antisemite, which often supersedes left or right.

Old outlook (if you use new outlook you’re basically just using the web version), was a completely different software than the web version.

In the era of social media were we hear about people who dont deserve to get killed get killed basically every day, it becomes hard to care in general. The fact that he wasn't so good of a person doesn't make it easier obviously.

I didn't and my post wasn't in response to that. I just don't care about people crying about the epstein list being released because pragmatically it's irrelevant. We already know trumps in it. I also don't care about trump meeting putin, a literal red carpet being rolled out, or them shaking hands....

This may come across as callus, but I don't particularly care about Epstein or Russia. I care that Trump is a room temp IQ who doesn't understand the most basic tenants of economics while trying to micro manage the economy.

Unless its data I need for an ad hoc project that we don't store (in the example I gave above the data I was pulling using excel was weather data), I pull it from the cube or our sql database. Excel just has a very low barrier to entry in terms of cost and ease of use, while being an excellent data...

u93 It depends on the game. If someone's a CS2 grinder, CachyOS beats Windows by a hefty margin. The takeaway is that gone are the days when gaming wasn't viable on Linux. They're getting very close in performance, considering they don't nearly have the universal support that Dir...

So I'm assuming that they're also just getting a lot of it wrong about this trade deal too; the problem is I'm deeply unsure. We live in the age of disinformation lol It’s interestin...

When the discussion of off topic was brought up years and years ago, people were overwhelming pro having an off topic section. Twitch chat is a different matter and I think it's fine to enforce a no politics rule there.
