Re: The Minor Native Thread

I think removing the native icon is a good idea indeed, seems that everyone agrees on it.
I'm not sure the build limit is a problem though. When have you reached the build limit with nats for the last time. Seems to me that their units are most of the time garbage and also for 200w investment you jus .....

Re: Nootka Thread

I'd love to see natives played more, but to be honest, I think nootka are relatively fine. At least they are definitely in the high native tiers, so I'd buff the other natives instead.

Re: France vs Otto jan/huss (TP map on RE)?

Usually otto players are bad scrub that have very poor skills. I use to try to outplay them and the easiest way until captain rank is to play cav and raid them hard. Also yeah, upgrade your cdbs and stay colonial to defend the rush

Re: Tournament map thread

@[Armag] diarouga thanks for the constructive feedbacks :flowers:

Three points I'd like to discuss with you:
- Is there still some pathing issues on Bonnie Springs? I've thought it was mostly fixed by simplifying a lot the middle city but, if it's still the case, I can look at it again.
- Iirc, some people ( .....

Re: EP 7.0.x Beta [2019-08-15]

As I have mentioned, many times, this year, EP7 will begin to also focus on improvements to the game, including issues of viability. Having core game features marginalized - let alone so many of them - is simply unacceptable. I have no illusions of making everything equally viable; only aspirations .....

Re: Map Issues Report

@breeze is it fine if we remove Mendocino from Team set? I can totally understand that cliffs cause major balance issues but since it's a big part of the map, I think it would just make sense to remove it

Re: German Discussion Thread

To be honest, I didn't do the stats myself, I've just checked the work that @lordraphael did on Tps:
https://eso-community.net/viewtopic.php ... no#p161010

From this source I got:
- Mendocino: 92xp/tp/min
- Arkansas: 115xp/tp/min

92/115 = 0.8, so TP produces on Mendocino 80% from what they produce on Ark .....

Re: German Discussion Thread

On Mendocino, each TP produces 25% less XP (imagine how huge a -25% nerf is). And yet Germany is still played there, and this map doesn't seem to provide too much buff to civs that don't rely on TP either. This has been in front of our eyes for 2 years now, and I think it has worked quite well since .....

Re: German Discussion Thread

Wouldn't it be elegant if we nerf TPs by giving every pass less exp ? It would allow to slightly nerf germany and some other strong civs on tp maps without nerfing their already "unplayable" abilities on no tp maps.

ESOC maps are here to provide you more consistencies between spawns and guarantees you to have a decent amount of ressources to defend from rush compared to RE.

I get your point and I understand the logic, but I disagree on a hypothesis you do that leads to your conclusions.

We've discussed that many times but it is impossible to balance the game on both TP and no TP maps.

I disagree with that point, at least I'm not sure we ever tried working hard on that to .....
