Re: EP9: XP Alternatives to Trading Posts

I think the church granting exp is a solid option, but I would like to make the strategy and options behind more interesting than just dropping a 100w building and that's it. Furthermore, I think we could use the church as an option to also consume this extra (or part of it) 100g starting crate whic .....

Wish for a RE map

When cleaning your desk you find a lamp. From this lamp, a genie appears and ask you one wish. "You can change one thing in a RE map".

What would you ask for?

Re: On EP – Past, Present and Future

Balancing is not a point that you need to reach, it's a continuous metric that you want to maximize in every iteration.
In that regards, it's obviously possible to balance the civs around the context on tp maps, no tp maps as well as in water maps. Dia, you are saying it's not possible because it's n .....

Re: EPL2 Maps Feedback

The idea behind the +100w crate on Lumaco was to provide various opening options:
- Or being able to wall as soon as possible the west side of the map + your base quickly for a defensive play like a VC boom for instance.
- Or favouriting a water opening play by giving you extra wood to build a dock =& .....

EPL2 Maps Feedback

Hello,
I'd like to take the opportunity of EPL2 to get your feedbacks about maps showcased in that tourney.

Some random questions:
- What do you think about the new maps introduced?
- What is the map the most refreshing map in the pool?
- What is the most interesting map strategically?
- What is the map .....

No it's not imo. Otto ruins the game because it's super hard and not fun to play against this civ. Until Otto gets nerfed (or the map pool gets changed), we should just shame the Otto players.

1. yes, there is a jrsmr.config.json in the project which allows you to change the path of the output
2. No, it doesn't work with observer UI, currently you need to add it manually
3. No, for now you need to manually do the conversion from XS to Typescript. Practically it takes around 5 minutes to do .....

New language for making Maps

Hello everyone,
I have been working on creating a compiler for making AOE3 maps with another language. My main motivation was that with the current one I had a really terrible developer experience with those points:

- Map code being wrong and crashes the game, so you need to create again a new lobby i .....

Honestly a lot of people know that we don't have had a big romancy with my loving sompu, but I feel quite sad that after trying to apologies ( which seemed to be sincere) he still get banned plus also some people start attacking him on irl stuff which is the most trash thing you can do.
