Re: Ottoman Discussion Thread

Jan huss is common because 1) it's a bit faster 2) you can force a fight 3) you don't have to worry about tc sniping abus 4) you can catch raids. But when you don't have to be that aggressive, and can be content to just contain your opponent while having the stagecoach, abus are still insane. Way st .....

Re: Ottoman Discussion Thread

I've said since the start that abus are ridiculously OP, and the rof nerf isn't enough. And yeah when you add 2 range as well it's stupid. I wish we'd just nerf this dumb unit. Give otto a buff to compensate, idc

Re: Ger vs India

Vs passive india just ff. 3 sw 700w, or 3 sw 700g if early tp. Be aggressive in early fort, with skirm uhlan if you're sure they're aging (then add ww), or with skirm ww if they seem to stay colo.

Vs aggro india, start rax. If he's up really early (like 10/10) ship bows first and train 5 pikes. Other .....

Re: Mathematical Look at Selling Food for Coin

I didn't read it all, but I remember doing the maths quite a while ago and finding that it's very good to sell food when you have steel traps. You have to be careful not to fuck your hunts too much though, so it's best for a civ like germany which is usually happy to have less food and more coin. Yo .....

Also very nice to include every map but the NWC ones (which felt a bit repetitive to me during the LAN).

Re: Poll: Crate gathering in batches

I think microing crates is a skill and having this change would make it way easier. So I dislike it. Plus it's true it would make it too easy to gather crates under tc while pressured.

Re: Time taken to become Captain from Conscript

It's super easy to get quickly to captain nowadays when you're able to watch top players stream, chat with them and read the forums. I remember playing on vanilla with pretty much only noobs and it was hard to get better. Took me like 1.5 years there

Well that's why 13 jaegers being changed into 12 would be a good change. Jaegers are very strong and 13 of them is a bit too much.
I don't think 9 br is really a problem though.
