Re: Asian Wonders

I am gonna check a couple files and see if i can find anything, if not ill do some testing amd see what the result is. I absolutely know 3 or 4 siege elephants delay an ageup wonder really easily so its somewhere less than that but more than a dozen musks... which is quite a large difference in sieg .....

Re: Asian Wonders

I disagree sort of with the above statement in certain circumstances. Denying an ageup vs a civ with powerful military shipments that have multiple shipment points (china, agra for india) I'd rather attempt to force them to stay colonial than have a stupid urumi/redcoats pop from a nearby village. L .....

Re: Are the treaty players more intellectual than sup players?

treaty players always stretch a civ to its limits, actually use artillery and know what an arsenal is, and have patience in all their booming time

Sup just ff into skirm goon bots and then resign when they run out of coin mines

I think its pretty clear here who the intellectuals are .....

Re: Attack or HP

I think hp is generally better than attack, for the same reason we all ship mamelukes but rarely ship hackapells. Mamelukes are forgiving, posisitioning is basically irrelevant, they stay alive for ages. Hackapells usually get one swing or two and then poof no more. Like, well positioned hackapells .....

Re: Attack or HP

Attack is especially better for aura/ attack dance/pavillion where it grows exponentially off the base so like for aztec with full firepit the 15% attack is actually 15% x1.38 = 20.7%, but hp is only 15%

Same with yumi and pavillion/ daymios

Re: King of the Hill Mode

The hill could have trickle logic like the campaign treasure ships or, like @Interjection says above, crates appearing at the fort would make pushing the fort even more rewarding as ungathered crates can fall to you and vills will be there meaning you can pick some off too.

Thank you @EAGLEMUT for g .....

King of the Hill Mode

I was wondering how this game mode is implemented from a map constraint perspective. Does this mode work the same with ESOC and UI Maps?

Re: Scaling mercenaries

it means if you add 30% to a merc in industrial and another 50% in imperial you get very broken mercs like.... 2000+ hp mams, 200+ attack hackapells, 150+ Attack Highlanders, 700 attack invincible lil bombards...

Brit grenadiers can pull a wonder down even with 8 vills building so idk the exact amount or how it is calculated but it is somewhere in the 1000s

Wasnt there an old smackdown or tourney where there was a german mirror on kamchatka winter spawn where both players stayed colonial for like a 30 minute game and both players were completely out of coin going xbow pike?

Re: Export Generation

Export roughly equals 2 res per export eg. 400 export gets you around 800 res of units, like 4 grens or whatever

300 export = 600 res shipment

It trickles in such a slow rate it makes your vills worth like 1.01 vills or less

If you stack France consulate with the "5%" option you will generate .....

I always found the port design was glass cannon super specialized units with long range. Cassadores are brutal against their specific units they counter, namely musks and other HI. The higher resist is to sucj an extent that brit musks wont just beat them when in range and thats not true of normal s .....

Re: EP Old Han Reform Not Viable?

You don't have to upgrade your pikes and ckn to make them good with old han. The 90 wood cost a pike is really prohibitive tho

I dont use old han, i just make forbidden and imperial army, occasionally some hand mortars and that seems to do good enough.

I just hate melee infantry so much i can't bring .....

Re: EP Old Han Reform Not Viable?

Im not a huge fan of old han even on re, they are still short ranged units and cost just a stupid amount of wood, often a good size mass of lancers, artillery, etc. Will still make short work of them. Idk its never seemed super strong to me because the cost tradeoff and awkward to add in other units .....

Re: Pull" Trick" discussion

Ive pulled arrow knights with eagle runners and stealth jaguars with puma, theres some real aplications for aztec especially. Sioux can pull their infantry which can make cetan a bit less useless....

The thing with the pull trick is, in my mind, it sort of simulates the effect of morale on the units .....
