Re: aoe3 players should stream more chess
I am up for the task ! Don't have much time to play aoe3 lately but if you like a 2400+ opponent on Lichess, I'm your man ;) I'm about 1900 on lichess when I focus but I'd like to play with you for sure. Playing against better opponents is the best way to improve,. Stabbilojunior on lichess feel fr...

Re: Best first shipment for China?
the best part of not shipping northern refugees in age 1, would be to get 7 villagers from it in late age II. But giving the strength of China late colo it is hardly usefull. That's a shame tough it would have been a good use for the card.

Re: Rifle Riders as a substitute for Wakinas
they are just a niche unit countering the fearsome (broken bcause of musks according to gs in his guide) musk/huss combo. They are actually jaguar prowlers on horse if I am allowed to compare them this way.

Re: Rifle Riders as a substitute for Wakinas
I know that I have already mentioned that but RR are classified as heavy cav so they are hard countered by goons. So ROF and so on don't really matter as they take a x3 in the face! If I recall they don't have the range resist of a goon either so yeah no rr are useless against ports (except against ...

Re: Aztec Needs a Change
Yep definitely :) But I like some of the ideas especially the one of adding range to halb and pike units similar to the kamayuks for Incas in AoE2. The thing is it really changes the game as the archaic rush could be quite nasty then.

Re: German Discussion Thread
What about changing the exiled prince age up time specifically for germany? Slowing it up by 15-20s might be enough to make them more vulnerable to hard rushes. Thus making them want to stay a tad longer in colo where they shine less.

Good question a pure goon comp is tough for otto to deal with but why did you let your opponent age though?

Re: Aizamk Portuguese 10/10 Rush
It is more like you force the tempo in order to allow yourself to catch up in development whilst retarding your opponents development in order to come out equal or better- the tempi in chess is like having the serve in badminton or tennis, you might sacrifice a piece in a 'forced' situation of 2-3 m...

Re: Aizamk Portuguese 10/10 Rush
The whole thing works on what is known as the 'tempi' in chess and is equivalent to going on the front foot in order to facilitate 'piece development' i.e getting map and establishing 2 tc vil production behind the rush in what might otherwise be a disadvantageous situation- the idea is sound and g...

LordRaphael played a superb game against him on Indonesia (brit against port if I recall correctly). I blame Kynesie for not winning the baja california fame though :-) I don't see why people are bashing (pesting) his style he is a true defender. I think attackers vs defenders matches are the most e...

brits can be ok because they have the strongest goons and their cav is good too, ports are another good opton becase of 20range op jinetes. Basically a civ with good anti cav and solid eco. thought port had best goon one of the strongest* sorry In nilla brit goon = port goon I think. cav att, hp, c...

Myabe allowing an higher number of mosquees (like 2) to be build. This way on a non TP map they can build two for 200w and have 80% of a TP which is worst than a TP map bit decent at least.

I'd agree with the fact that you need to get H2O outside his confort zone (but it is quite large unfortunately for its opponents^^). But please refrain from chess comparisons if you don't play the game yourself I would like to think the same applies to other people too! Sure You should have seen Ma...

Think about it this way, we still have legends playing and caring for a small community of a game that was popular more than 10 years ago! I for example loved playing it in highschool and such when it came out and I still like getting destroyed in ro128 of tournaments People like me only stay here b...
