Re: [TR Patch] Maps other than ESOC Andes
Ye some water maps might be short on space for land fights. I think New England is fine though, for 2v2 there seems to be enough space on each side of the lakes to make for 2 nice fights where whoever pushes gets rewarded with control over trade rout. Painted Desert is a bit small, that's true. That...

Re: [TR Patch] Maps other than ESOC Andes
Ye, i would also really like to play more or other maps. Some maps to consider for play: Toluca: I have only played a few games on it, but it seems to be a good map with various key positions on the map, i.e nats on the side you dont want enemy to get control of, but easiest to push into enemy base ...

Re: [TR Patch] Thoughts about current balance/Suggestions
The problem with vills stop moving on mills and plants is that you actually have to adjust the gather rate numbers. That already needs some time of testing, since you have to do several attempts of booms to see if it is as accurate as the original booms. Also, this change may actually buff nilla ci...

Re: [TR Patch] Thoughts about current balance/Suggestions
What i really want for the next update is for vills to stop moving on plants/mills (with gather rates adjusted accordingly) and the wheel on the mill to stop spinning. _NiceKING_ you said it wasn't hard to fix. Why isn't this implemented yet? It could help with the annoying lagg issue seen in many t...

Re: [TR Patch] Strongest/weakest civs
Tier 1 Brits - Very strong when played to their full potential, but only dick, lukas come close to that. France - Doesn't have a single mu where they do bad, they are even or slightly favored in all mu's both in and out of nats. Sioux - Strong from what i've seen so far. But is likely just because ...

Re: art hp card for port on treaty patch
If you send art hp card it will take 2 shots from culvs to kill your organs (they are 1 shot otherwise). So it is still a decent card. But depending on your style you could go for the faster building card or the extensive fortification card (higher tower build limit). I use the art hp card in my nor...

The age up with 1000 gold option is that exclusive to Treaty Patch? There is no option for it on RE. Ye, the 1000 gold option to the Industrial Age is exclusive to Treaty Patch. On RE you should age to age IV with 7 Oprichniks or 13 Musketeers. Russia should go strelets imo for s simple reason. The...

Re: Have you stopped working on ESOC patch?
If elo doesn't get fixed i doubt we will see new version of ep. Potential transition to Voobly will be hard and more players will fall off, so put your expectations to minimum. Why would you be so negative just because elo doesn't work? The servers are still working and so is the ingame ranking sys...

Re: Chinese Treaty Guide
Whats the pros/cons with Keshik as I see that in the write up by NiceKING says don't use them but later in the comment by paddy_jai says china "needs" to make them to not fail vs large cav army. What have I missed here as it seems you got 2 very different opinions on that one unit? On the...

Re: Chinese Treaty Guide
Tbh, about 95% of the treaty community cant play RE china to the fullest potential, thus struggle with them on maps besides andes. Those 95% struggle with China no matter if it is Andes or not. It is just more clear on maps other than Andes since the players skill isn't compensated as much by the O...

Re: Chinese Treaty Guide
IMO Whether China is OP or not depends on what map you are playing and what civs you have in your team. On Andes (nr40) China is probably only second to France. There they can train units fast enough to just spam the enemy down with their superior eco. They also have enough wood to support their str...

I found a minor bug.
For some reason the name of the maps Ozarks and Plymouth disappeared when i use the new TP. I can still play the maps, but they show up without any names after Standard Maps. @_NiceKING_

Nice!
Can't think of a single change i don't agree with
I have to try china/sioux a lot more to see how those changes work out in practise, but the changes to them look very interesting and good.

Re: Whats the community consensus on click macros?
In general, I think it's unfair if one player is able to use a macro/mod from outside the game and the other isn't, simply because they haven't looked into it. It would be great if this was integrated somehow, which I would be in favour of if at all possible. Also, in general, team trading is consi...

Re: Treaty Patch 1.2.1 ⭐
I'm not saying it's always perfectly fair and square, but I think it works for both sides: even if you're in the need of a break (phone, toilet etc.) you can prolong it for a little bit more to micro your troops, too, like I said above. That way no one will end up being screwed. Pauses are being ab...

Re: Combat strategies?
5. Consider how effective your horse artillery/rockets/heavy canon are being. If they are dying instantly to enemy culv, you shouldnt be making them. Pull them back when enemy culverins are out. They will still be effective vs enemy melee units that come in range, dont risk losing your artillery to...

Re: the downturn of US eco - and the rest of western eco 2
notification "Work hard" might not be the best wording, which is why I added "and smart" in brackets. By smart I mean to educate oneself. I started out as a boiler tube welder in my very early 20s. I quickly realized that that could only take me so far, not to mention the health...

Re: the downturn of US eco - and the rest of western eco 2
Nobody have the right to wealth, but some just works very hard (and smart) to gain financial wealth. Do you think they should share their wealth with people who do not work hard, or maybe don't work at all? To measure how hard someone is working by how much they earn is quite stupid imo. For exampl...

Re: climate change - how to go forward
Thanks. I agree with you too. There are few things which can be discussed without taking the economy into account. Measures to reduce the climate changes are always depending on how much of a blow it would be to the economy. The current economic system might not be perfect, but i'm not sure what wou...

Re: Whats the community consensus on click macros?
Just use stuff which is already implemented in the game. /thread one could argue it already is in the game (shift clicking = 500 res per click), and the need to gift more then 500 res at a time just wasnt forseen by game devs. one could argue that spending 2 min clicking to gift res isnt a necessar...

Re: ESO cheater list
I like the idea of the list, but i'm concerned about what quality of proof that is needed to be enough. Is for example the current "proof" of [.....] drop cheating really enough to be submitted to a cheater list? I mean most players have lost connection by accident some time (especially in...

Re: climate change - how to go forward
I think solar energy is the most promising one. Household solar panels dont pressure the energy grid as much, allowing for a smooth energy transition. Wind energy is also relatively cheap right now. Stuff like using the tides as an energy source is surely possible, but solar/wind energy are cheaper...

Re: climate change - how to go forward
Imo the first step is to get the majority to agree on that we are the cause of the climate changes (if not only us, so that we are part of it atleast), that we have to do something about it, and then what to do about it. It will always be hard to work against climate changes as long as it isn't a co...
