14 civs is exactly why this game is so hard to master. On RE patch, its more simple because there are quite some gaps in matchups.
The uniqueness is why this game is so enticing, for me. I like most civs, and like using specific units from time to time

I do think micro is what separates good players. Macro isn't too hard, and micro can swing resources much quicker. What really sucks, and takes away from micro being more skill based, is attack move. But besides that -- if you macro good but fail to micro as well, tour resources deplete, and you end...

Oh btw- this was on hispanola, that's why he aged early.
