Re: German Discussion Thread
Jerom is right that it's one of the reasons, mobility is important, but musks are still too strong. The obvious argument here is that if they weren't, musk civs would be making pikes more often. The reason people aren't making xbows in colonial is not that hand cav are too good, it's musks. I would...

Re: ESOC maps UI 2.062 *NEW*
Hello, i just checked the new esoc maps and have one comment about the map `adirondacks´. The Huron settlements make no sense here imo because the water has no whales. The basic idea behind the hurons seems to be that with their fish-upgrade you can efficiently get gold out of the whales and with t...

Re: Favourite architecture
I love the Mediterranean architecture, but only before age 4/5. The architecture changes in those ages and I dislike it compared to the age 2/3 buildings. Japanese is probably my favorite.

Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
Hey Durokan, this map is another in my list of competitive maps that I would love to get on the EP. If this map could have some more terrain texture mixing (instead of just flat, like canadian prairies) that would be great. Thanks for all you've done for me! Map Name: Cumberland Plateau Map Size/Pla...

Just reduce HP by 20, or decrease range to 10 or 11 and you have a balanced unit, IMO.

Re: Spain FF Age Up Selections (Vanilla)
- Age up with 15 or 16 villagers, always with tower and gold. In transition gather enough wood for a trading post. On a no tp map you can age up with 14 villagers and gather no wood. - If there are many trading posts you can send the advanced trading post shipment and build 2-3 posts. Not sure how ...

No I've tested it like 5 times, and there was always 2 or more tc widths behind the TC.

Spain FF Age Up Selections (Vanilla)
As a Preface, this question is in terms of Vanilla, not TAD. My question is, what should I age up with for colonial. My BO is almost always 3 vill, age up with 500 food, 700 gold, age with 8 pikes, 700 wood, 10 musks in transition, 2 falcs, then push at around 7:30. Is this the optimal way to do it,...

Re: Is brit OP in team games?
i think i have streamed enough games were a brit team lost in 2/2. It matters a lot what the civ combos and maps are. Also how its played by both teams. Brits are beatable, though not easy and ofc not if you give brit all the time they need. Which is why i say brits is good but its not OP. Similarl...

Re: Is brit OP in team games?
In 2v2 what civs beat brits then? I cant really think of civs that I consider explicitly better. France, at least from my experience can beat them. France has a less resource-intensive play style, and has good cav. France also scales a little bit better into the mid game, because the fact that they...

Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
Here is the finished version of Coastal Plains. It has both an OBS and scaling version for TAD. No vanilla version (wasn't requested but could easily be added) https://i.gyazo.com/991f4c81d83c5a0241a572f6ee609bcd.png Oh whoops, I forgot to ask for a nilla version. Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
No offence or anything, just wondering about it because the design is pretty much the same. You do great work of course, but why would anyone want such a map when it already exists even on RE version of the game? Obviously I'm concerned there are different textures, treasures I imagine, so maybe ac...

@Durokan
You are amazing! Thank you so much for all the maps you've done! Canadian Praries is a hit amongst all the people I play with. I have a few more ideas for some possibly EP-worthy maps but Ill wait to share them until you have a little less of your plate.

Re: British Discussion Thread
British really don't need any buffs. Yeah, but I still think they need some tweaking to make them a much stronger civ in the current meta. That would most likely have to be done by nerving some parts of Brit's power play, namely mid-game eco, while buffing other parts, like their fortress age shipm...

Re: British Discussion Thread
Make the Adventurer 8 Longbows, and the Admiral of the ocean sea 800 or 900 wood, instead of 400 wood and a caravel. I also think that the tower age up should be buffed a little bit, like giving an exrta coin crate. Also give them a guaranteed 300 wood start, with the an extra random crate (100 food...

Re: Portuguese Discussion Thread
I think that organs just need like 20 more HP, just so they don't get 1 shoted by culvs, and Cassadors need a bit more attack OR the infantry upgrade cards should be moved back, 1 to colonial, and 2 to fortress.

Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
@Durokan notification I have a new idea for a map, well really maps. What my idea is is to have one map that is very standard that has three different spawns, winter, summer, and fall. Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
@Durokan notification Canadian Praries is looking perfect, and is exactly what I wanted. There are 2 bugs with the map so far I have been able to discern from a game. First off, the trade route cannot be upgraded. I think this is due to the tp sockets being asian, and there being an American travoi...
