You can change the alpha value of all overlays like that in the options (I.e., make them semi-transparent).

See if it lets you attach it now, I added that extension to the whitelist.

I suspect many people don't even know what OOS means, and have only even heard of it as an OOS hack. However, I wouldn't worry about people pesting you -- you probably didn't want to play with them anyway if they jump to conclusions that quickly.

EP stands for the ESOC Patch. You can get to the uninstall menu in the control panel in Start -> Control Panel -> "Uninstall a program"

I'd be willing to pay a fee knowing how much work goes into making the tournaments happen, however since I'm likely to just get eliminated in the first round, I'd probably just not play if a compulsory fee was added. I don't have enough time to practice enough to enter in a paid tournament.
