There is an updated version of Draugar AI. I tested it, it performs much better with most civs. You can still rush and defeat him easily, but it is much more competent if you allow him to boom.

I beg to differ, they still need organ buff and one imp card rotation from age 4 to 3. That way their musks and especially cassas won't be so weak in fortress.

Can the brits explorer get moved to discovery age instead of colonial age. It sucks very much to try new things with brits if they have their explroer in age 2, while other civs have it in age 1.
