No balance update since a long time. If elo doesn't get fixed i doubt we will see new version of ep. Potential transition to Voobly will be hard and more players will fall off, so put your expectations to minimum. A new version of EP is already in the works and I doubt ELO has any effect on its dev...

Folks, looks like they're working on it, our prayers have been heard! The stats page is up, players can be searched, and even http://agecommunity.com/stats/GameSearch_yp.aspx is now up with some games listed as well as their results. It seems the last games shown are from 4 days ago, but hopefully new ones will start appearing soon!

As treaty games take a long while to finish, there is a higher chance of the servers going down and restarting in the meantime, while you're playing. There is unfortunately nothing you can really do about it.
