Perhaps try streaming using a different connection on a different device? E.g. Stream using LTE on your phone.
I also doubt YouTube is the problem, but ya gotta try stuff one thing at a time til you figure out where the issue lies.

Re: Initiatives to attract and keep new players
I think this site definitely needs more noobs and newcomers. I am definitely a noob (I heard about the site on inters channel btw) and I feel kind of out of place with all the veterans here. There needs to be an active thread where noobs can get simple advice from experts so newcomers aren't instan...

Okay. The reason I asked is because I've already got AOE running on Parallels. Was curious if it would be worth installing on Wineskin instead. Regardless, I'd value the education whenever you and adderbrain get together if possible.

I might be interested in knowing how too. How does WineSkin compare to Parallels from a graphics standpoint?

Re: Max 50 units in group
--SNIPPED-- Well if you mass 50+ units of a same kind you won't be able to micro much so you'll basically attack move most of time, so the only reason you bother to make 2 groups is imo the 50 units limit, not micro purposes That's kind of what I thought, but who knows, maybe there's somebody who c...

Re: Max 50 units in group
What happens if you use the "select all units of this kind" hotkey and you have more than 50 units of this kind ? Just randomly selects 50 units of these units among all those you have ? How so?? Only difference it would make is being able to have another hotkey for your whole army to get...

Re: Initiatives to attract and keep new players
Small side note on the twitch vs YouTube live debate: Pardon my ignorance as I have zero experience casting, but wouldn't the best of both worlds be to have both YouTube Live *and* Twitch? Maximum exposure. If this isn't possible, I understand. If it is, however, I don't see why there should be a de...

Re: MAC GAMERS
Dunno how beefy your Mac is, but if you've got a decent set up (SSD recommended), download parallels and Windows 10 and run AOE in Windows. Bootcamp is another option, but it is more tedious in the set-up department.

Re: Initiatives to attract and keep new players
EASY ACCESS TO XP MOD! After reading a lot of different posts about why aoe3 wasn't as accepted as its predecessor, a significant portion comes from the xp/home city element. And a lot of these complaints aren't about the system itself (after all how can you not like home city, so much variety to t...

Voted. (Bump)
I think it'd be nice to freshen up a bit (esp. Hack the ESO home-page).
I agree with incog though, there are other more important things to tackle first.

Re: NEXT TREATY TOURNAMENT
We are restructuring tournaments to be less frequent for the main event we do. Easier to get money and less of a commitment from players and staff This. For people having bicked 20, it already takes far too much time being invovled and up-to-date with every event. I can't imagine how the staff does...

Yes, I'd say wait as well. I'm enjoying this Sup tourney too much right now.
On another note, what ELO rating would be required to participate in a tournament like this? (hypothetically, of course... )

Re: Initiatives to attract and keep new players
One of us needs to win the Powerball and pay Microsoft tens of millions of dollars to fix this thing up for us... But in all seriousness, there are definitely a bunch of things that factor into it, many of which have been touched on by other people already. I'll echo the noob-bashing sentiment. I sa...
