Re: Hi! I'm noob!
So 7106 and I have been working on figuring out the best way to get him set up. He brought up a question I don't know the answer to: He is German and bought the German version of the game. My game is the English version. Therefore, the CD image I would supply is the English version. Will this cause ...

Re: Hi! I'm noob!
I don't think the trial works like that for some reason. I'm not 100% sure, but I remember that for some reason. I might have an ISO of CD1 that you can mount on a virtual drive and install from there. I got it online somewhere, so it's probably a crack and thus the installation's use on ESO might b...

The tool is one of my favorites, if not my favorite, user-created tools for this game. I've been using the latest released version for months now and haven't had any issues nor have I had any alerts from my antivirus (even when I activated and used the free trial of Economic Calculator). I've also u...

Re: Is Ethernet significantly better than Wifi?
Just a small tidbit of information to add for you guys: I measured the bandwidth of a 1hr 15min treaty game using Tripmode. The total usage was 34 MB. Conclusion: you can probably play this game on a really slow connection so long as the connection is reliable. If I go to task manager during playin...

Re: Mac?
I currently use Parallels, putting Windows 10 into a virtual machine. I recommend it for any Mac user who have multiple windows-only or better-on-windows applications they want/need to have. I recommend a solid state drive in any computer, but especially in a Mac running parallels. It just makes ev...

No, it's just saying things concluded out of thin air constantly with no logical back-up. Plus2Joe just announced that they were going to implement an alarm system for such temporary shutdowns, and yet you tirelessly imply the opposite. People can get annoyed with such behaviour, it's natural, not ...

Re: Ideas to make nr55 more popular on treaty patch?
NR 40 in 10 mins is an excellent scenario. It's an excellent way to try new ideas, practice, and do friendly 1v1's. I just wish it worked for team games so we could use it all the time!

Re: Ideas to make nr55 more popular on treaty patch?
Possibly, but on the other hand you'd ideally want to fix it, of course if it was even possible in the first place The only advantage I can maybe see from it is for push oriented civs or players, and even then the change is small. Honestly the one civ that it actually helps with any significance is...

Re: Ideas to make nr55 more popular on treaty patch?
Disclaimer: I'm rather new to treaty and have only been mostly playing nr40 so far. However nr55 seems to just extend the game time longer with more resources and more walls. It doesn't seem to punish bad early macro as harshly as nr40 and turns the game into more of a "who can play the most o...

The stats database has been messed up for the last few days. I think it's likely coincidence that you happened to start playing at the same time these problems started happening. We are hoping this gets fixed soon, but the exact ETA is unknown. There is another thread where people have posted about...

If it is related to that, the ELO site will therefore have to parse data from the new site, undoubtedly. Is the admin of that site still active?
