Shipping units vs shipping crates
shipping units is good because you can go for the bigger map treasures more comfortably with certain civs. So your unit shipment can become a unit shipment +200ish resources. I think civs like Ports could use 700 food shipment to make vills + military. And as absurd as it is, I think they could ben...

They will all be out after groupstage. Just let them have fun and play 4 games. They can learn from it too and get better. Also less ppl will be willing to donate to an event theyre excluded from too. Here''s a picture I saw recently I find very relevant. m The list of the amazing donors to the Sum...

I hope so. I just think it''s a waste of community resources (time, broadcasting) to allow anybody who wants in.divinemoon wrote:if it''s "by invite only" horrible players like me won''t get a chance? :''(

But this raises a good point: is the summer tournament going to be an Open? Or an invitational? Theres gotta be some regulation if all matches are going to be live-casted.

My account is much older, and I dont remember when deleting your own units and buildings was ever considered a good strategy. (facepalm)mcjim wrote:His account is from 2011 ^^inomus wrote:Please tell me the Sioux guy had just bought the game..

yes it's all free. I mean you have to get the files to play the games yourself. I can PM you or anybody who's interested.

Haven't bothered with the off-topic section here but I'm noticing a lot of philosophical discussion. Just wondering if anybody else plays fighting games at all, like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, Tekken, or other games of that genre. Also wanted to tell people about a free program...

Seems like both are comparably viable but tower+200g is better for eco boom.

I don't know. Maybe just long enough that a falconet can't hit targets on the other end? Or like a tower placed near the water, it's LOS won't be able to see units going down the back lane?

I've been watching a almost 100% German player named Bobabu1 who I saw mass Uhlan, then sent 6 Dopps age 3, and used the Dopps like melee cannons. He used uhlan to scout the location of the other player's army, then baited that army (I think the other player had hussar, maybe goons too) to attack th...

I also agree with Boneng. I also don't like Silk Road though. You have to build some infrastructure if you're going to keep the TP anyway. Oh yeah, why don't people like Indochina? I like the fact that you start with a saloon/monastery which of course favors certain civs like India/Dutch, if a playe...

They are the strangest anti-cav unit in the game. They have good hitpoints but only 20% hand attack resist. No range resist. So the other players anti-cav is going to be looking to snipe down your WW and Uhlan. The other civ could even use skirms+pike/goon for this. WW seem like a specialty unit me...

I think the cliff heights are fine, I just think that middle section nobody is going to gather from unless they're starved for resources, so it's kind of a waste having it IMO. You could either shorten the lengths of the cliffs, or maybe have a 3rd passage that runs through the cliffs to be an extra...

Yeah seems like Flying Crows are only good so long as your army is already good. and the skirms are strong but usually just glorified minutemen if you're going FF.

Shouldn't this be in the Use Created Content Forum? Anyway, I think this is a nice map. I don't think the potential for raiding is any less there than how it is on NE. One criticism I have is that I think the cliffs should be closer to the trade route. Just seems like there's too much empty space th...
