Re: Grenadiers
If grens had a much quicker animation, they would be able to hit and run, which means they would be much better against hand cav. They would also do better against skirms, because atm skirms can shoot like 5 volleys before the grens get in range and throw their shit ; and when they do, their animat...

Re: Grenadiers
I see it that way: Grenadiers get destroyed not only by skirms, but also (and mainly, because I guess the majority of you talks about age II usage) by melee cavalry. I do not see how changing animation will help if 3 hussars can kill 7 or 8 of those guys with no issues. To sum up their place in the ...

Re: Your favourite unit accents for each civ
Number one forever will be Elisabeth Ramsey. I could marry that voice lol Are you sure you don't mean Amelia Black?? Negative, Lizzie is more the type. Besides, I've played that game for over 3500 hours...it happens very rarely to me to actually not remember something correctly, let alone to commit...

Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
Thank you very much for adding my map idea to your cue. Time does not really matter for me. As far as the reasons go, it has been suggested to me by a friend, that the map is too predictable and needs randomisation of resources to work for players. Besides, i feared that a scenario would cause too m...

Re: Durokan's Custom Map Workshop
Scenario.rar Hey Durokan, I would like a map made to these specifications (if possible, because it is quite large). It is not a modification of any map, although I have a scenario map that could be helpful (file attached). I don’t really know if it is possible to just randomise the resources and le...

Age of Empires III campaign and Atlas Shrugged
Hello everyone, I am currently reading the novel "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand and I think I might have discovered the inspiration source for Age of Empires III campaign. The reason why I'm posting this is because I haven't found any similar thought on the internet. <maybe because it is so ...
