I think you can stream your own content on your own channel from first-person, since that's not really casting, but just streaming. You can't cheat if you stream first-person I believe.
The reason non-official casters can't stream tourney matches is against cheating with a friend for example.

Hi Breeze, please keep the site rules in mind when posting. Specifically, rule number 2: "2) Respect site staff and their decisions. The management of this site is made possible through the efforts of people freely devoting their time and/or money to its maintenance and moderation. If you have ...
Re: admins
Welcome to ESOC! We are sorry that this unfortunate circumstance is what has brought you here, but glad you're here and hope you'll stick around. If you didn't know already, here at ESOC we host regular tournaments with cash prizes, share strategies, develop new maps (best played on the ESOC Patch),...

The devs have been notified Soldier, thank you for your report.
Re: Cheating?
The reason they could build walls and trade posts before treaty was probably because you can only build in a radius around your town center. You could have built walls but only close to your town center. If you have no trade post near by, that sucks for you but then you can't make any.
Re: Cheating?
They are probably not cheating. Outposts and forts can attack before the treaty ends because otherwise people can camp in your base with 100 units before treaty and kill everything when it ends, like you were trying to do.
So please don't report them, they aren't cheating afaik.

Re: DoS attack on ESOC
I thought DoS attacks were services bought on the (deep?) web. Unless the attacker brags about it, how is even possible to find out who he is? No anyone can do them really. I've been behind some before. DDOS attacks, which are Distributed DOS attacks, can be bought, where you basically hire a botne...

To be completely fair to him though it's not as if he was treated fairly. How would you feel if members of the business team told you that you could play in the tourney but than you werent allowed. It lowers the integrity of the moderation as a whole. At my job, if an employee tells a customer that...

Re: Interested in meeting up?
I think The Netherlands is an realistic option since a lot of members live there and is decent public transport. How long ago have you figured out that the country you live in is The Netherlands and not Holland? It's not to late yet to adjust your nick to the reality my friend Haha, I'm afraid it i...

Re: Message from Diarouga
I think this subject is kind of a dead horse now. Signups have ended, so I don't expect anything will change until the next tourney. And anyway, nothing can change until the rule which says: Members banned for the period of such events are prohibited from taking part in them as well. Furthermore, t...

Re: Message from Diarouga
I would be open for the staff to take a really hard look and revisit his ban before the next tourney given diarouga doesn't smurf this one with 6 accounts like he said he would. Personally it just feels premature right now to allow him to play but that could be entirely different next tourney. We w...

Re: Message from Diarouga
Media team are the main tournament admins. In the current team structure both those appointed leaders and the entire team, or those that bothered to vote, have a majority in this decision. Im happy to see you're eager to dispute this statement with vague guessing. Vague guessing now, but we did ind...

Re: the Way of the FFA, A guide to hosting good FFA's
My way of FFA: FFA means free for all, meaning that there are no teams, but also meaning that it's free for everyone to join. No civ restrictions, no "no 2vs1" rules, maps scale with amount of players so no need for large map and don't forget to have fun instead of remembering all the rules.
