You're all such debbie downers. DE will improve, and so will the player base I'm sure. It is far from perfect now, but while we do have support, let them figure it out. I've had my share of disappointment with DE so far, but it is what it is now boiz. It's somewhat down to us to give them feedback ...

Just seeing this post and discussion make me happy. It shows how much everyone here loves RTS and the AOE community. I played some other games but no community exist like this one. I feel like in MOBA you are only a number. I feel like beginners do not want to play the game because they fail in 1v1 ...

The file is showing as game.cfg but appears as a notepad. It was my mistake when I clicked on "always open with notepad". Just tried the game and I don't see any changes though. I guess it will work fine.

The rename didn't work but I fond the hotkeys. Thanks mate.

I accidentally changed by game.cfg file to notepad. Any suggestions on how i convert it back to a cfg file?

Moreover, how can I save my hotkey file? I'm trying to switch from Legacy to Default hotkey but it seems that the Legacy hotkey will be affected.

Here are my 3 favorites about DE: 1) Even resource distributions on good maps: I feel better even if I lose now. At least it's not about the resources, which is a main component of the game. 2) Fixed crates start: Finally, I can have a solid strategy for age 1 and start the game with a peace of mind...

@_NT_sven They are still very strong in my opinion, with 190 hp Uhlans. The market start benefits the Germans anyway.
