Re: Sino-American Naval arms race
Very possible, but the US must do much more in South-East Asia if it wants to curb China's growing belligerence in the region. The US should hold a strong position in the region with nations looking favourably on them compared to China but recent foreign policy has done nothing but shoot themselves ...

Need this fixed so I know which of my posts are getting "likes." I use that information as market research to inform the content/style of my posts going forward Little did we know, :ear: has been data farming ESOC for years. Better user profiles of us all than twitter and facebook combined.

Re: 2020 US Elections
Extremely scary numbers for Trump if these prove true. Wouldn't just wipe him off the map, but would also seriously damage Senate races.

Re: 2020 US Elections
I think Gibson has the right of it in people acting like victims in a way, whether they rightfully are or not. Trump was popular because he reflected the beliefs that a large portion of Republican voters felt. They felt that liberals had been going to far socially, and economically they were falling...

He might legitimately be basically okay but it's still so silly to release a picture of him "working" like this, especially the second one. Why would he be in a conference room? https://twitter.com/AndrewFeinberg/status/1312586796711149569 https://twitter.com/jonostrower/status/1312616578...

This would be so much funnier if it wasn't the highest office in the most powerful country on Earth. Oh how the mighty have fallen. You think it would be funnier if ScoMo got it? Ahh I think it would be middling. Like Scomo is still pretty shit as is playing big political games with Victoria right ...

Not 100% convinced of everything that comes from WH officials/sources but this is a bit concerning. Bit more than precautionary action taking him to hospital if true.

Re: 2020 US Elections
Going to be a morally issue on where the line is. But I think People in general don't value human lifes as much as they ought to. To such a degree they can sound downright evil. I don't agree with Trumps stance on prioritizing the economy over the People, but I don't think he deserves to die for it...

Kinda fucked up convetsation wishing death and misery upon someone you disagree with With Trump it goes beyond disagreement, at least for me. He fits my definition of evil pretty well. I don't wish he dies from this, but that's not because I value his life so much. More because I want to see him ge...

I don't think there is anything not valid about hoping someone dies/at least not wishing them the best from the same disease that they downplayed and helped perpetuate 200k deaths. (Also it is just a bunch of zoomer humour anyway) How is it "zoomer humour" Like all the memes on tiktok and...

Re: 2020 US Elections
I just had a bit of a wild thought. If Trump died (not saying it will happen) before the election, are the Republicans able to re-nominate a candidate? Like you have to be on the ballots by a certain time right? And it isn't like the Westminster system where you vote for the party, you actually vote...
