Re: Poll Internet Quality
speed.PNG My speeds are good, but the connection quality (ping, jitters, etc.) to video games is terrible, mainly because i live in west coast, and most gamers live in east coast america, so my connection is never good. The upload speed is usually what matters in games, and mine isn't as good as i ...

My provider randomly decided to increase my bandwidth to 50/10 to like 70/20. Can't really complain.

From what I've seen Belgium played better but Wales simply capitalized better on its few shots. Great goals btw.

If you try Keshik in the editor you actually get positive results because, again, their stats are not bad for their cost.

Re: Host Saturday SMACKDOWN or Friday smackdown
The 2 things are related. For example, if you don't get the most out of a unit with micro you can't assess the real value of it.

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
Tbh you should stop with your pointless maths, even with that you never agree lol. Keshiks are bad because when you make them they don't kill cav and get raped by inf, that's all. They are bad because you cant mass them fast enough to be useful, just like with the other china colo units. There are ...

CavA: 1.21hp, 0.0593dmg (per villager-second) Kesh: 0.683hp, 0.0487dmg (per villager-second) Keshiks basically have 50% of the hp and 80% of the dmg per villsecond cost. Quite terrible indeed, despite being faster than CA and having ranged resistance" Apparently these facts lead Garja to the c...

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
Now apply the same logic to a less extreme example, and you'll hopefully find that a unit has the potential to be overpowered regardless of its RoF. Lol, I was jocking when I said only 1.5 rof units can be OP. If you check after that I made an actual post where I say that other units can be OP as w...

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
Lbows are potentially OP. Whenever they deal full dps they beat pretty much everything (notably cav and cannons that are supposed to counter them). Maces are borderline OP, they definitely are with the attack dance (10wp + 3 vills give them 10 base attack, aka 20 attack x2 vs HI in colo for a 40f 30...

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
you are really stretching the definition of op here. And its not even neccesarily their high rof. You can say the same about yumi in "certain circumstances" and they dont have 1.5 rof. You can get 50 FP with 22 range and say its potentially op. You can get 50 pikes sieging all ur shit. an...

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
I mean that in the current state of things, without assuming fancy bs, 1.5 ROF units already have OP DPS and thus are potentially OP ( it depends mostly on how accommodating the opponent is). You can't say the same of every unit because only a restricted number of units actually have something poten...

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
No, any unit with any RoF has the potential. Even a unit with infinite RoF (can attack once) would be overpowered if its other statistics were good enough. Other statstics are not good enough that's the point. 1.5 ROF units have virtually double the attack so when they actually deal that damage the...

Keshik are actually good per cost lol. It's just China colonial that sucks overall and it isn't even due to the units.

Re: Whatever happened to mercs?
Any unit with 1.5 rof is potentially overpowered as its dps is vastly superior than the counterpart with 3.0 rof. In the case of Manchu or Bow Riders there is also the fact that they can always chase or escape from infantry units. All other stats are more or less comparable to other units. In that r...

Re: [POLL] Euro 2016
It's a well known conspiracy over the internet. You can find articles everywhere if you search for ref errors in World Cups or stuff like that. SK, the host of the event, managed to beat Portugal, Spain and Italy thanks to referee errors. Go watch videos on YT and judge yourself.

not just part of you, thats totally accurate. you can pull shirts, kill promising attacks dead in their tracks and get at most yellow. Look at what italy did vs belgium in the last 20 minutes. They were only bent on destroying every playing opportunity of the other team, with brute force and dirty ...

Re: Spain: Some questions
Most of these questions you have to figure out yourself. Not only it's hard to theorize specific situations but more importantly you're not going to remember the answer for each of them when playing.
That's where you just play a lot and develop a feel for in game decisions.

Even if you get let's say 1900f out of 2100f sheeps, it is still 900f you get at a lower rate and that costs you 200w+building time. Also generally the pen takes place of market so it's even more res that you lose in comparison. In general it has its drawbacks. If we talk about pure efficiency in an...
