Re: My encounter with spadel

Anyway, the people who were active when the game was "more active", such as GS etc can tell you that he's never been a top player.

Not sure how you can say that when he was a 2k3-2k4 player on the ladder (thus not even top 10)

@ShinkuroYukinari I only took saloon into consideration, and mams and elmetis are avaible in age4. I would rather see pikes and ninjas than age4 units.

Re: Non-tp map balance (split from Tournament Statistics)

At this point trying to balance TP's sound like should we remove hunts or not. It's integral part of the game, like said no TP maps bring no variety.

I think natives should be an option when gold runs out(investing in plants or natives?) rather than 200/200 pop.

Re: EP6 Post-tournament Balance Poll (Jul 2019)

Humble zoi OP btw its weird how people rate without info of map and Mu. Imo balance like this is tricky cos for example if u buff spain for being rated low, it can be a monster in 5 Tp maps and now people will rate it very high.

Yea one thing to add more bo's hiding/requiring investment to see oppenents deck. Decks could be the most important scouting value but seeing them requires no investment.

Re: Is Aoe3 too one dimensional?

i was like 1700 in aoe2, i think aoe3 is more complex. can be argued if a good or bad thing. In aoe2 there are neat master moves(like building wood cutter building to best place etc. and other optimizations) but principles are simple.

Re: Is Aoe3 too one dimensional?

I think one thing is competitive level is not satured and thus top players play cosy. For example kaiser's 'bad' merc play can beat 90% of the top 50 players. Why would kaiser try to find new strats or play style's for example? Not saying kaiser only does merc strat or something. If you are not puni .....
