Homecities

I think it was discussed before and some people even proposed to remove them(that u can use every card in your civ) which would make game more suprising. A similar idea came in my mind. How about making it cost like 100 gold to view your oppenents deck? Greedy strats like fi are easily exposed by lo...

Re: What's aoe2 like?

You are being harsh on aoe3. Take russia, completlely unique civ design, plus unique units + strat. In ottoman no unit like abus, ww completley different from goon(given your ruyter example). dopps(pikes with area), Spain full of unique melee, tercios, rods, lancers, organ gun, mercs etc. Dont tell ...

Re: The Musketeer Case

Musk both perform good in combat also good in siege. heavy inf kinda supposed to be worse in combat because they siege better than other units. Also hand inf are only ok in age 2 and early fortress, thus risky to do them if you are not going for a timing push i think. It's the game design of aoe3, a...

Re: Why 99v?

Because defense is always better in aoe3, (unit shipment, TC, militia, cannons, skirm mass etc.) you can defend with less units in a good position during transition. So greedy playstyle is favored. Still i always thought it is possible to make make a 15 min timing with 40-50 vils and your entry army...

Re: EU4 How do you beat a great power when it's allied to another great power?

Take southern italy in EU, and invade Africa, India and get the best trade income. With money you will feed the largest army. AI is stupid. Make a big war 10+ years, with blockade, with smart defense manevours and with good military ideas. Your enemy will collapse after war.

I have an idea. We can form a debate club in esoc forum and discuss various topics since many people like to discuss. I am a debater and i think we can solve the issue this way.

Re: Is moderating cheating?

I think you miss the point of subjectivity here. You think like that because you are told to do so, but if you think with an open mind you will understand it adds a great depth and variety to the ESOC forums.

Re: Is creeping treasures cheating?

But dont garja's maps change the game more than any amount of alt-d and crackshot trick ever could? So then actually we shouldnt have gotten those maps, or EP for that matter, or any future EP changes (looking at you, cheaper fishing boats )? By your logic the answer to that is yes, we shouldnt hav...

Re: Is creeping treasures cheating?

ok, my last serious message: Definetly people would be ok with alt-d and crack shot mechanic if they were implemented. Guess what? They are changing game unneccessarily which players are not used to do. Age 1 has a playstle and alt-d changes it, not discussing balance etc. I know you will say ah tha...

Re: Is Moesbarring cheating?

I think your idea is innovative and controversial, thus i think it is cool. Yet you forget to mention that ESOC sucks because only 5 people control the game rules and they ban moesbar from tourneys without asking other players. I think it is unfair and i have a butthurt because of that, Americans sh...

rapha likes to do vet hus+ arsenal up + cav combat with dutch. At right time peak these huss even kill goons, maybe because of misplay of oppenent but anyway it is impossible to do perfect micro.

Re: Is creeping treasures cheating?

By the way, some people think that deleting pilars is a glitch. My point wasn't about alt d or creeping being right or wrong, it's just that it's obvious that 4-5 players are deciding whether something is an abuse or not and should be banned. I sense there is an emphasis that you are against "...

Re: Risk Europe Revolutionary Population Limit Mechanism

Cool idea, in order to convert exponantial growth to more lineer, you can increase the amount of units should be killed by some paremeter. Like until 200 pop killing one unit grants 1 pop, until 300 killling 2 units grants one pop, until 400 killing 4 units grants one pop etc.
