Regarding the BOs, I'm having hard time to find BOs for RE because everything is made for EP today so I don't know how much I can reuse what I read/see on Twitch/Youtube on RE. The playstyle of a few civs (Iroquois, Sioux, Aztecs, India) is different on ESOC-Patch, but regarding all the other civs ...

Problem with the stats is that it doesn't show games of equally skilled players only (like Noel said). If this were the case (and we had 10x sample size of PR33+) the stats would be a good indicator whether a civ is op or not. Example: If Diarouga played Japan against my brits 20 games, he would win...

I'm also not sure how this is an argument for a colonial start tournament. I think there will be less viable strategies/civs than in EP. You started with it lol. This is a post about a fun tournaments (that aren't supposed to be completely balanced), and you say throw "years of balancing"...

Why don't you try to learn and improve at the game when you meet a better player instead of crying ? If you keep playing noobs, you won't improve, it's that simple. Because not everybody dedicates his life to be good at aoe. Casual players want to have casual games and not be fucked over by somebod...
