I agree with Fard. Warships are what make water so good. Walls helped but warships can defend the coast. Large negative multiplier against land units for war ships would be nice.

If patch notes are released and people can't play them this board will meltdown. Trust me I've seen it before with almost every other patch for this game back to vanilla.

Apm counters are legit, they count spam. Only game you can accurately count apm is sc2. And I agree, apm isn't as important for aoe3. The game doesn't move as fast to need it.

Is NYC really that much hotter than Chicago? It gets 100 here most summers for a handful of days. And we get bad winters too, its hard to imagine NYC is more drastic on both ends of the extremes. I'd rather have a couple months with snow than a summer of unbearable heat and humidity. You can also go skiing here or ice fishing or something. Not sure what to do when it is so hot outside.

That''s my point. Saying I make 100k is meaningless because if I make 80k and cost of living is less I bank more in the long term. Its no different in Chicago or San Fransisco, I just happen to have a few friends in NYC.

I think cost of living is also a factor though, not just salary. For example, I live in Michigan and make good salary but not as much as my friends who work for Goldman and Citi in New York. However what they pay for rent / other compared to me makes us almost equal at the end of the day even though...
