Let's say map would be ok if:
- no islands
- no wood trickle treasure
- only 2 salt mines in the middle
- no OP catamaran with OP pets
- no lvl 3 land treasures next to the coast
Then again it would basically be another map.

Hakkas simply can't kill pikes, think that says enough.
Also ffs remove Dnpr Basin from the standard pool. The map has 4 tin mines and then a gold mine which is 1 minute away from every other location in the map. Also in aoe3 having a river for boats is no bueno.

Well ye the design just doesn't work anymore. Now it's just a dragoon with low range and worse multi vs cav. Also penalties against the units it is supposed to do better against compared to goons.

Tbf 300w was the best age up anyway, just other age ups had trend strats.
You can try and spend influence by using the 200 influence travois and build a 2nd rax or a TP and go stagecoach. In fact with this age up I don't think you want a university for influence but rather go for TPs instead.

Another non balance related thing that came to mind is: revert the mechanics of attack move to legacy status. Units moving to point after the kill is incredibly annoying.

Yes the range card is the only good one and possibly kinda broken in design. +10% atk and only +2range would be more reasonable keeping all musk units within the 14 range threshold. Ye, the civ rules are mostly just for the viewers. If it was only about crowning the most deserving player then even just one civ would be enough. Winning is about winning, not showing off you can use many civs.
