I don't think you should outright ban civs from the game. It's not good for the longevity of the fan base. People watch events to see new/exciting content from high level players. Build rules to encourage civ diversity, but don't ever constrain yourself to a limited civ roster.

The patch was regular in 2007-2008 ? But for now we're good for another 3 months of shit balance until hoping a god damn good patch thats the biggest problem imo patches in 2007-2008 took 3 months, not 1 month. personally im a grateful for the state of the game, balance isn't perfect but its better...

TAD and TWC were so balanced when they came out too! Sad!
