UNITS THAT SUCK
Dops are definetely not one of the worst units in the game. They still rape any other melee unit, and also RI if they can come close enough. They are such a deterrent for cav too... I mean you can try to kill some musks or pikes with cav when you outmass, if you micro you might even lose no cav. But...

Lbs are polyvalent, just like xbows are on nilla. They still lose vs cav, they still beat heavy infantry, but not by that much. They have a better attack than other RI units, but smaller multipliers, which make them beat other RI but be less efficient vs HI. They still have the same multiplier vs R...

I think ports still have early colonial options. They have 6 musks and 8 bows which are good military shipments, a forward tc for mapcontrol (and forward shipments) that can't really get sieged because of mm, the 300w shipment can be used for an early colonial timing, and often you can age up with 1...

5 fishing boats vs 4 vills?
I guess it indeed depends much on whether your enemy cares about the sea or not. Without 2 caravels, those boats are like unraidable vils with almost infinite resources. On the other hand, only shipping 5 boats means no dock to garrison them into ' so if your opponent ships caravels, you're likely t...

Yeah if you manage to huss semi fast and safely enough vs jan abus, it's way better than a musk/cav, since abus/jan is a much better composition than musk/cav. But that's a risky bet, you might age up too late to hold his push if you are housed or needed bows + mm etc

Pain and torture is worse after a specific degree than to die but it costs the state more. Being in prison for the rest of your life is torture in a way, especially if you can''t really do anything. I guess you could become insane and the time nags at your brain, so better let mass murderers rott i...

TP >' extra market ups if Germans go without 3sw. Yeah but who would FF as German without a tp anyway ? And if you talk about a 2nd TP instead of steel traps, the problem is it will have to be out of your base unlike the first one on many maps, so you will just build it in early colonial and it m...

Ovi steel traps will slow you down, even if you manage to age up in the same time with it (which might be hard with a 100w start for example. You have to show me this), simply because you need to gather 2500 food with steel traps if you want it to pay off. Of course it's not that much, but still in ...

Germany usually likes to semi ff whenever they can, but vs some rush or fast FF u might need a naked ff. 500f makes it faster but it's really a crap politician so it's usually better to get 400w (plus it enables you to adapt to another build if you need to). You want to TP asap during transition unl...

I'd say around 3 months if you are well coached from the very beginning. If you try to improve alone, without having a real interaction with higher players, you might never even reach that pr by playing this amount of games everyday (we all know some guy who is lieut forever, playing a few games eve...

Or then if they stay heavy infantry they should be more efficient vs cav, making it a polyvalent unit
Why couldn't we buff their stats a bit ?

Br are much harder to get tho, if the guy pushes while you are getting them, well... You basically have the equivalent of 2 unspent shipments and you lose in this timing. If you can get them safely though, for sure they are a more polyvalent anti cav than ww WW do suck hard if you keep them fighting...

Nah they need a bit of a buff too. I don't think making rax + art foundry instead of rax + rax/stable makes grens not viable, you just spend an extra 100 wood. Sure making them available in the rax would make things easier (the opponent can't spot your art foundry, you save 100w, and you can switch ...

ww are just useful when there is too much heavy cav to kill for your uhlans or against musk/cav. Full ww wins vs age 2 france (unless they have enough bows) for example

I think just about any civ would be happy if they could age with the pavillion and 6 yumi. You need 2 vills on the wonder to age as fast as an european civ, you actually loose like 200 ressources. But you can decide to age faster at anytime, which is great, and train vils while ageing. If you age u...

No they don't. Why would they ? And if they did, it would mean they end up with the same attack as in normal mode, but with twice the range resist. So people would always use it for sieging, which isn't the case.
