Hi louis, i think these 2 played about 8 days ago, both player streamed their PoV onto ESOCTV for Haitch and EGCTV for Mini, a very interesting dynamic seeing live gameplay across 2 monitors

in speedrun "races" this is done in a way where everyone streams to their own channel without any added stream UI elements, and then the community channel just crops the videos and puts it in one frame, so that everyone can see both. commentary on top of this is often minimal

This sounds like an interesting concept. But you'd prbly need 2 monitors to properly watch it with aoe3.harcha wrote:in speedrun "races" this is done in a way where everyone streams to their own channel without any added stream UI elements, and then the community channel just crops the videos and puts it in one frame, so that everyone can see both. commentary on top of this is often minimal

Re: minimoult21 vs Haitch
this is true, the units would be too small and screen moving too fast for this to work well with aoe3

Isn't that the (convoluted) way to casting games live? Not side by side, but alternating the players' streams!
Under the premise that both players' hardware/internet allows streaming (are "private" streams possible on twitch?)
The caster can just have both streams open and jump between them. Automatically muting the stream which isn't being watched.
You could have a little window in the overlay for a live picture of the player if they stream with cam or for their avatar if they don't.
This may require too much organization playerside...

Re: minimoult21 vs Haitch
i think having facecam is a bit much, but the two streams seems fairly easy to do imo. most of the high level players (but not all) have decent enough connections and computers to handle this
