alt F4 pretty good honestly, you don't get penalties so it's actually quite easy to dodge water maps
given the state of the patch though, I don't think we'll be seeing much needed updates for a while. so in a way, it's a good thing that the game isn't too buggy. balance is close enough that it's not a complete french fest as long as you avoid pure water maps. I definitely think China/Delhi are weaker but I also think the civs are all underexplored and that france being "good" has a lot to do with its simplicity rather than its actual power.
of course, that isn't to say that the french bonuses and units aren't the best. they are. but not it's not entirely possible to take free wins, you still need to play well even against other civs.
I'll give you 1$ if you pay for my 10EUR game pass.

Honestly reading through all this shit, this seems like the amount of work that Eaglemut would get done working part-time, as a volunteer, on EP for one or two months. They can't have more than a single intern working on the game if this is what their roadmap looks like.
