The lowest playerbase is dipping 5k and max around 13-14k yeah it's kinda dead for the pro scene coz the ladder will be boring to grind not much high quality games

game viewership numbers are trash and being propped up by EGC wasting money and Microsoft pumping money into it. If Demuslim were to return to SC2 / Grubby to leave, the numbers would be lower than games like broodwar and warcraft 3.

aoe2 ladder is dead at Hera's level. he said in the video the only people who ladder seriously are him and MBL. it's not enough

I'd say he has the talent but it will take a very long time for him to catch up and I'm guessing he won't last that long
