Asking for a friend: are players allowed to agree on one player using random civs for game 1 (and further games if that player loses)?

So are these standard civ rules, or is it if you win with a civ you can't play that civ for the remainder of your run in this event?

I think its just standard rules. Will check up later but its typical business as usual in terms of civ rules.

Hi all,

Some final reminders for tomorrow:
  • Please be available on the ESOC Discord during the event and ensure your Discord ID is added to your ESOC user profile.
  • When hosting your tournament match, ensure you select Allow spectators so ESOCTV casters can join and cast your game live.
  • Record your game and have the winner upload the recorded games to the Tournament Submission Tool.

Don't think there's been any clarification on which rounds are BO1, BO3, BO5?

I edited in what I believe to be the intent in the original post, which corresponds with the size of the map pools and length of rounds.
- Round of 32 (BO1): 14:00 - 14:45
- Round of 16 (BO1): 14:45 - 15:30
- Round of 8 (BO3): 15:30 - 17:00
- Semi-finals (BO3): 17:00 - 18:30
- Finals (BO5): 18:30- until we get a winner!

Record your game and have the winner upload the recorded games to the Tournament Submission Tool (I hope to have it working by tomorrow)
Looks like I am not going to get this fully working. Please create a post in the Supremacy Cup section here (viewforum.php?f=1080) and attach your replays.

I've done some fixes and the match submit tool appears to be usable now.
Just make sure to add your rec files first before inputting score, because it reloads the page. And don't worry about the weirdly looking file preview...

Perhaps I'll be able to make further improvements before event starts.

Also guys when you are hosting games for the event please please please remember to:
- Allow spectators by clicking the allow spectators button
- set delay to 0 mins: This is to help casters, it is likely as the day goes on that we will be jumping into games already started!
- Please name your lobby to 1v1 cup Round of x Game y Player A (x):(x) Player B: Just saves people searching through brackets and such inbetween games and cuts down on downtime

Thnak you very much and remember to have fun and good luck every game!
