Can't close patch launcher

Hi devs, sometimes I can't close the EP launcher (the X is greyed out). Anyone know what the reason is?

Why would you want to close the patch launcher

The close button is disabled when you use the Recorded Games Recognition tool, until you close the game. This is because otherwise your game would end up in an invalid state (stay on an older dataset) after you're done watching the recs with a compatible dataset. The launcher has to stay open and monitor when the game process is ended, so that it can put everything back in its place for regular play.

Why would you want to close the patch launcher

Now that's the right attitude! On EP7, we are introducing a new option to make the launcher persistently open, instead of automatically closing upon regular game launch
