Treasures spawn bug on New England

Hey @EAGLEMUT i noticed a few bugs on new england, treasures spawning without guardians for example or 80f for a single black bear, see screenshots

Yea it happens every second time on that dumb map

It's not ideal for competitive games.

Just get rid of that map, NE sucks anyway. Games there are too often decided by random, annoying stuff like size of the ponds, where you send your 2 caras/galleys, how many of them spawn, if the TPs are in range of the ships, how the volleys hit, if you see the ships in time, if they lock onto your units due to LOS etc.

Add to that the generally annoying map layout, pathing problems with walls and trees. Not to mention the annoying layout where there is only like 2 lanes of attack, kind of like a MOBA, making proper army maneuvering and raiding very hard.

Yes that map sucks, quite disappointing its in the tournament map pool.

Yea I'm sad it's in the map pool. Sure there's some fun things about this map with the warships and stuff, but honestly we've seen enough of it I think... We've had it in all nwc rounds, in grand tour playoffs, in twc, it's getting kinda boring. Especially since the map often spawns with unfair hunts, bugged treasures, and these dumb stone walls that can be magically deleted. We have so many cool esoc maps, I really wish we'd see one of them instead of NE.

Why not rewrite the map from scratch? It should be less buggy if we do that?

The map is rewritten for a good part. Notably treasures spawn after all other resources just like all other ESOC maps (on RE NE treasures spawn before trees etc.). Also the min distance between objects have been changed. The treasure set is the same as Arkansas, Mendocino, etc. There is basically no reason why this bug happens.

Just need to move the flag more into the middle of the pond. Idk if you can actually fix the bug of just 1 boat spawning.

it happens where there is no space to spawn lol you probably had it too close to shore or pond was just small

yeah it's the same as shipping 30 pike to daimyo, some always despawn. this game doesn't spawn stuff when there is no space. this can be abused if you can wall enemies rax/bh

If you ship them properly there's no way you don't get 2 vels lol, unless opponent has his own ships blocking the pond. It's not that hard to move the flag
