ok guys finally got it to work but running the age2f.exe file, but it now says that I have no custom maps loaded when I host a game any help is welcome

Try joining someones game and having them select a custom map (to confirm you got it, try greening up) then try hosting again.

Try running the program with admin privileges: right click the file' properties (bottom)' compatibility' run as admin (bottom).

You have to start the game from the folder where its installed ( age3f.exe) .

Now the errors are others. Installed PHP as an administrator, give yield to download the Visual C +++, but the error gave install mistake again. Redid the process and it worked, installed visual c +++.

Okay... Apparently, everyone who gets win32 error should open age3f icon from bin folder, instead of desktop icon.
This bug should be fixed, tho.

You should be able to override the warning. If the option is not offered try configuring your browsers download or security settings.

Theres currently a string error that either disguises other map-sets than Standard Maps (which hasnt had its description updated) or renders them unavailable for now. This error for some reason occured during the transfer from the final beta to release despite the content being identical as far as the map sets go. This will be addressed shortly!

I still have the error msg when I open EP ... the patch crashes and closes right after...
Tried already to execute as admin, reinstall and so on didn't change anything... yesterday it worked just fine so idk...

I downloaded the patch and tried to join a game but it gives me the error message ''CRC Mismatch'', and I cant join games. There were was an issue while installing the Visual Studio thing, because I don''t have a genuine copy of Windows installed. Does this mean I can''t use the FP?

The fanpatch loading screen came up when I ran the game so it did install, and I can still join non FP games just not the CRC games.

Can someone help me?

For people running the game through age3f.exe, do this only as a temporary solution since it circumvents the update check. The launcher issues will be fixed asap.
