Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
Yeah but do other buildings have the same negative multiplier?Garja wrote:Cause siege troopers counter buildings so buildings do bad vs them. Ez.

2 flamethrowers --> 2 flamethrowers + disciplined upgrade
I uh... was lookin through my china hc and realised this card might actually be the worst resource value of any fortress age unit shipment, its actually less than a colonial shipment...

Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
In chat the other day, it seemed apparent that the new Banner Army that gave 2 Hammers + 3 Changdao is immensely unpopular, due to it being strong. What are provisional plans for that one?
Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
Probably nothing, since the people who make the changes dont actually play the game
Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
How does saying that help anything? lolgibson wrote:Probably nothing, since the people who make the changes dont actually play the game
Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
Was there implication that it did help anything? If so I apologize.iNcog wrote:How does saying that help anything? lolgibson wrote:Probably nothing, since the people who make the changes dont actually play the game

I'm just pointing out that it's kind of pointless to flame the person keeping this project together. Better to give criticism constructively than lower the level of discourse with that kind of posting.

Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
balance is different on lower levels and most Players are under pr 35, so idk if focusing on balancing this game at the highest Level brings the best experience to the most part of aoe3 Players. on the otherhand, this Community i think is also founded by high Level Playersharcha wrote:tbh i think our gameplay is a bit low to make balance argumentsScroogie wrote:Played some games vs harcha yesterday, China colonial is quite legit now, maybe too legit? Feels to me like the civs only weakness now is getting outscaled after 30min because of akward unit training, before that it's simply amazing.
Also crate starts are quite good, from what i understand they get~500 res compared to ~400 res for most other civs which is quite strong.

Balance at lower level make no sense. I mean, if i was in charge of the balance, based in my level, you can be sure about china get a big nerf age 3 and otto get a big nerf about double rax jan rushpingiu wrote:balance is different on lower levels and most Players are under pr 35, so idk if focusing on balancing this game at the highest Level brings the best experience to the most part of aoe3 Players. on the otherhand, this Community i think is also founded by high Level Playersharcha wrote:tbh i think our gameplay is a bit low to make balance argumentsScroogie wrote:Played some games vs harcha yesterday, China colonial is quite legit now, maybe too legit? Of curse Otto is better as the level gets lower, just becouse how easy they are to play. I dont now what you mean with no sense. The balance is just different for example is rushing easier then defending or a moving Sepoys easier then microing skirms, witch makes civs like Otto, india or russa better at lower levels.chronique wrote:Balance at lower level make no sense. If there is any civilization that can aspire to this challenge, it were Chinese!deleted_user wrote:Please nerf china, but buff chiNA
Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
That's a good question! The answer is that we didn't; the civilization was nerfed with EP7-7.1.pingiu wrote:just out of interrest whay did we buff China?

Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
probably old dynasty units + forbidden, mostly because keshiks are legit your only unit to kill cav lategame and pretty good anticav at that with the x4 card. old han vs skirm sword , skirm sword probably better but not by a whole lot probably
Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
On ep i would just favour the castle banner armies mostly. Changdao/meteor is really well rounded

Re: Chinese Discussion Thread
yeah i am a fan of this and it seems like maybe only one who actually uses/used this in games. it's just a bit out of reach usually tho unless you form your build around a castle or blockhousedansil92 wrote:On ep i would just favour the castle banner armies mostly.
