The goal of EP patches is all civs to be as equal as possible?
We can. But our games prove nothing so why don't you pick an opponent like rapha or mitoe?

So you're saying you're too low and beating you with iros proves nothing? Then why would I believe your opinion about iro's strength?
I've played plenty of iros vs mitoe before, and I've won my fair share of games. If I happen to play iro vs him I'll make sure to stream.
I never manage to play raphael he's always afk, or ignoring me idk. We'll see in the showmatch if I'll have an opportunity to play iros.

Just like all the underplayed civs, you can abuse that and surprise your opponent.

Iro in particular is a strong underrated civ, where knowing the civs well makes lot of difference.
It's not about any particular secret just lot of different builds, tricks and optimizations. Also strat crafting.

It's also about being able to get away with making as many fps as possible, never losing your fp mass and carding them. And sometimes hitting strong timings in colo.

I think my right honorable Garja makes a good point here and I'd reiterate that iro is perhaps unmatched in exploiting vulnerability if you know other civs and their timing well. In fact this is the key to successful rush isn't it.

Take Portuguese for example. If you know that his vils are on wood and he is aging camp under or near his TC and kill the wagon when it pops out! You might have to shiptown destroyer first to make sure you can kill the foundation.

i agree with hazza, and diarouga, even though it seems like they are fighting now.

Basically french has aways pwnd me when I play up. Mainly because of CDBs being OP for fighting iro Unit and out gathering so hard

Better eco when? With wood and farm up iro gather more. With crate BB and travois dance they just switch much easier to farms and plants as well as going industrial after 20 min.

You're never going to get the farm upgrades with Iro while France will get ST every game.
Furthermore, you're going to have less vills (you age with 15vills while France ages with 14 cdb, also 4cdb>5v and because France trains cdb instead of vills, he gets x1.25 your eco).
The travois and better units compensate for it, but you have less eco, that's a fact.

that's if things are going well, and very well. IF you are playing someone better than you or not doing a good job at pressuring and damaging all game there is no way you will be able to do all this with iro, and with factories, 10 CDB shipment I'mnot certain french going to industrial too wouldn't out gather
