The speed is what nake ashi unique, just like lbows range, cuirs area of damage and erk rof. I can't see it being changed. Besides ashi are not even as scary as they used to be.
I still don't see why Ashi is a huge problem. They are a strong unit, yes. But it's not like they used to be where they were unstoppable. People complaining now must not have been around in 2008 or don't remember.

Thats exactly what happens.
I rarely see it, and now that the shogunate doesnt give tons of xp anymore, I dont see it being viable either. Japan has way better options too, so why nerf that part of japan, when you can (if you must) nerf something else?

Japan always has more units,&'nbsp'better upgrades and also cav.
Id say most of times it is the other way around. Except for upgrades, they do have better units ye. Anyway, that tourney game was a bad example. If it was brit musks-huss it would have ended in the exact same way.
