Re: Indian Discussion Thread
I like this idea.
Let us introduce a new card called "Sepoy raider". After shipping a card you can put your sepoy to ride on camels. Then, we add stats together:
Hand attack: 20+15 (3x vs cav, 1.5x vs RI)
Ranged attack: 50.
Hp: 225 + 180 = 405.
Speed: 7.25
Cost: 190 food, 110 coin.
Tag: Mercenary. No other tags.
You can do same with mahouts.

Yea, India is the most overrated civ by far.

Re: Indian Discussion Thread
India are probably better in team than 1v1 which is why Hazza's so adamant about them.
Played some India vs Japan on EP yesterday and I was definitely not getting the OP sensation. I just never want to play this MU again, let alone with a nerf.

Re: Indian Discussion Thread
India is super op in team of course, because of op eco, op units (goons in age 2) and free map control. In 1v1 however, you can just abuse the civ's weaknesses: no good cav, weak semi ff etc.

That's so wrong.
The funny thing is that some people (like garja or _H2O) claim the opposite and say that I'm only good at copying what the other guys do
Tbh I'm one of the only guys who takes boneng, nagayumi etc seriously, and I learned a lot from them.
Anyway, that was obviously ironical, what do you expect me to answer to a guy who has no clue and who claims "lol India can beat everithing very easy" ?
Re: Indian Discussion Thread
you do not have to answer because the post is not related to you,And what better than a forum to say your own thinking, but despite this that is already enough even I was ironic too

A forum is a place where people should debate. "India is op and easy" isn't really what we expect.
Instead, you can try to explain why you think that India is strong.
Re: Indian Discussion Thread
i write india is op and can beat everything easy not that is easy to play them, well ok i think it's strong because this civ can outmass , vill cost wood this mean more food for units,i think is strong because u have a fort early game and u need to push for take hunt,i think is strong because with them u can play colonial cause u have gurka and zambu i think is strong cause in age 3 they get urumi, ain age 2 they can take map like noone can do,i think is strong cause untill they mass they get eco too What else must have a civ to be op
Re: Indian Discussion Thread
All civs have different strenghts at different levels, for example at private level ,sergeant level, liutenant level, etc. If you're talking about a civ's strenght at the top level, and you are not top level yourself, then you shouldn't have a strong opinion on the subject.
last time i cryed was because i stood on Lego

Conviction doesn't give your opinion higher value, it usually means you are stubborn.

Mosx wrote:i write india is op and can beat everything easy not that is easy to play them,
So you mean that they can beat everything easily, but they're hard to play? Doesn't it mean that it's hard to beat everything?
Furthermore, in the current meta, India is easy to play, but not that strong.
well ok i think it's strong because this civ can outmass , vill cost wood this mean more food for units,
Do you know that the villagers gather the food faster ? Actually, if the vills costed food, India would be stronger, so this is irrelevant.
i think is strong because u have a fort early game and u need to push for take hunt,
That's strong, until you lose your fort...
i think is strong because with them u can play colonial cause u have gurka and zambu
Sure, but the drawback is that India is a slow civ, which means that your opponent will have time to reach the 3rd age, and then how do you deal with the falcs? Also his vet skirms will be much stronger than your gurkhas.
i think is strong cause in age 3 they get urumi, ain age 2 they can take map like noone can do,i think is strong cause untill they mass they get eco too What else must have a civ to be op
As I said, India is a slow civ, and a good player should know how to abuse that. It's hard to play against India, but when you know what you're doing, the civ isn't op at all.

Since you're no authority, that just makes you dumb.

Any Civ is easy to play if you assume they re not strong.
You can simply task all Vills on wood and go drink a coffee.
You have to work harder man.
Re: Indian Discussion Thread
No i guess what he means by easy is that you're less susceptible to lose with india by doing big mistakes or wrongs strat : op scouting, easy to adapt, very versatile, no hard counter civ etc... also some broken mechanic can make up your mistakes (like cease fire ).
Re: Indian Discussion Thread
The truth is that India right now has a very straightforward way to win effectively (sepoy+urumi play). So it is both "easy" and "strong".

Now? What has changed except sepoys are nerfed.
India is a slow civ. They have one fortress urumi shipment and going IV unpunished is hard. I wouldn't really say that india even beats fre/germ (equal MUs imo), on 200w start and tp map it's even germ/fre favoured. It's more or less that opponents tend to go for wrong combinations and misplay.
