If your civ relies more on range than melee attacks, that's honestly not that stupid.
Some players do play with a rule where you can't give livestock to teammates to build infinite animals though.

The problem is with a team cowboom, it causes lag.
I did this a lot in the past with my screen full of cows
But it's just lagging...
Also it's kinda cheating imo... Like when you use the glitch for china or alt d with ports etc
When i would see this on ori... I would just do a ton of cannons nothing else

It's not a build-in rule no. But like I said, some players do play with that rule. Which makes sense.
Okay you edited your post so mine doesn't make sense anymore :p
Is spamming livestock really a cheat though? Perhaps we can discuss this with high-level players.

in NR55, if a person wants to send cows to mates:
1. He doesn't know the boom, if he knew, he wouldn't need to do it. Also, you have to listen to their BS.
2. Once there are more than 100 cows, they lag, their pathing just sucks. NR55 becomes more like NR90 IRL.
3. You lose precious wood just to spam for his 20 pens. Or if he is doing, then you struggle to find a place so that they belong to you, without interfering with your mills/plantations.
4. You can't go AFK as you have to send them back controlling cow brain pathing.
Counter,
Well, if they knew the boom, they would cow throughout the game, but now they cant, it will just drain them. and if you can have better micro you take cost effective trades and even push which will challenge their APM more, as they have to tower, wall, base up, and cow. Even remake vils which they lost.
If you want to irritate them to the core, just double his mates, and let the mates shout at them.
What I do?
If someone asks me to make pens as they will send me cows:
Trolling on their boom knowledge -> Warning for not sending -> "i would resign if you would do" -> if they send cows -> Take all the cows, delete them and resign!

if you consider making cows with help of team mate then overcapping units 200/200+ should also be considered a cheat

Sending a mate 100 cows for booming I wouldn’t call it cheating but it is a pretty shitty thing to do cause of the lag it can cause. I know torch_72 used to do it pretty regularly with India. As for the cow wall I’m pretty sure they can die to area dmg from art.

Re: just another day in oricono
I did in the past with xglobe and sebastian101 this kind of stuff.
I had 5400 scores with china or 4800 with brits at 55
But its the lag and we did send really a lot of cows. I don't have the screenshot anymore sadly.
My screen was FULL with cows.
100 cows isn't so much cheating for sure
