Nr 20 3v3 tournament

After a long night of nr 55, played against Japanes and France, the T2T staff was bored from this exhausting game mood.
Treaty need some wake up!
But not with nr 55 or nr 40....

We are very much interested to make a Nr20 3v3 tournament for a weekend.
I would like to know if its even a thing for others?
What do you think about it?

Asking for nr20 tournament in a sup forum. Well you need to balance it first or select maps smartly. Cuz if you select maps like deccan or painted desert only port japan brit china and to some extent france are viable.

Also maybe treaty players will play it and some players might too with a decent prizepool, right now there are only 10 players probably who play 20

I think we’d probably do RE, but I’m open to doing other patches. Man, I kinda wish EP had a patch that was RE but with EP maps and bug fixes. If we do RE we’ll need to have rules like “no China record game explorer aura bug abuse”. Anyway, I think it’s unlikely we’d get enough people for a reasonable tournament (I’d be more optimistic for 1v1 or 2v2), but it’s not impossible. Some of the guys who play a lot of nr20 are back (amsterda, princeofcarthage, auke1 etc), and if some sup players (since it’s nr20 not nr40) and tr40 players are interested as well, maybe we could get 6-8 teams?

I think I've played one 3v3 NR 20 match, I think with or versus Queen, and I think I carried hard but we still lost.

Neither is ep or tp. Since it will be imbalanced no matter what, we may as well do the patch everyone knows.

2v2 is such a good format imo for treaty because then it's just two mates having fun. I mean I even played in the 2v2 nr 40 tournament where we were cheated by two players who smurfed and exceeded the maximum combined Elo, right @SenorCallen

I would do a 2v2 Nr 20 but 3v3 is a bit harder to do. That would mean more teams in a tournament which would be more fun too.
