Just keep trying I suppose, I think this issue is on Octanium's end though so if it doesnt end up working then I suppose you'd get the win. Would be a pity if you cant play out your games though.

Have either of you tried port forwarding your router? If done correctly, this should solve your problem.

If the connection problem persists, I would recommend trying GameRanger. If you cannot connect to each other on GameRanger the other player's name will appear in italics, you may both take turns restarting GameRanger until the name appears normal. This sometimes works better than attempting to fix "Failed to join" issues on ESO.

Just be aware that there are 2 problems with this method.

1) You will not be able to use homecities or decks from ESO. Set up some homecities and decks ahead of time in singeplayer to solve this.

2) GameRanger launches TAD via "age3y.exe", which would be RE patch. You can get around this by enabling EP's "GameRanger Mode" via the launcher.

bc of limited access to network I can not open my ports that is where the main problem arises, we tried the game ranger as well I don't think it'd make any differnce. I know that Perman has already done port forwarding and has no issues playing with other people. We have already talked on this, but if you and Jerom say so I'm ready for another try, if it doesnt help I totally understand the issue and I'm ready to forfeit.

I would have played if there werent any issues with it, but i'll try for sure.
