aoe3 w/o HC cards

Ever wondered how this game would be w/o hc cards :p comment on what you feel would have been the major changes in the game. I feel the strongest civ, would've been brits and Japan followed by Russia... And that most games would be fast industrial type

Isn't basically any mirror, where the players go for the same BO a game without hc cards, because they just send the same thing to a similar time, and so always have everything equal...

I've always thought that if there were no cards, every single game would be colonial. If you decide to ff and the enemy has 5 units in your base, you've really got nothing after minutemen.

well germans would certainly suck ass without hc cards. they would probably drop to the worst civ in the game. same for china

Actually, games last till imperial only in case players are really close in skill. Be it one player a little bit skilled it easily ends in feudal (second age) already.

it will still be a 10 vil economy when they reach colonial. whereas the other civ will definitely have way better eco

Me and Victor_Swe played all 14 mirrors without shipments and without treasures (tres are a really big deal if you're not sending sihpments).
It was very boring ') No one ever aged to fortress, it was just a matter of getting to age 2 and making units.
Obviously the strongest civs are the ones who can boom without shipments like Brit/Japan/Dutch/Ports. Weakest are civs that rely on shipments like Spain/India/Germans.

Only if they both have the completely same cards sent and BOs then the player with better micro will most likely win
