I think they're aware of that. I meant COH had some quality in it. The only thing I didn't like about it was that you could only micro groups of units.

So, I'm not so pessimistic about Relic making AOE4. It could have been much worse.

So it's confirmed? The new era is World Wars era? Relic has solid expertise.

It makes no sense to make an CoH type game and call it aoe4 if you could aswell make a new company of heroes game, and there has been a relatively recent CoH game so I dont think relic games is going to compete with their own game. That being said, the trailer strongly implies them moving forward in time to a new age :(

This better be available for Mac users! Via Steam please. But I highly doubt it.

COH2 is almost dead though. If by COH type you mean WW, then I have bad news for you.
Otherwise, 100% sure it will be an AOE style game, despite the modern era.

At this moment we got look_tom praying god that 10/10 will exist on AOEIV

I'm sure that even if they move the timeline forward, they know they have to preserve the look and feel of Age games so it won't be just a COH2 clone. It doesn't have to be WW2 style, it could be 18th-19th century style, the age of revolutions.

Relic made Dawn of war 3 and from what ive heard its pretty bad.Apart from its gameplay which seems to be mediocre at best, It also has flaws like not being able to create custom hotkeys in the game, a missing windows mode etc. Really not the studio in which hands id lie the future of the aoe franchise.

AoE:DE will be released on Windows Store only, not Steam. I think they will release AoE2:DE and AoE3:DE on WS also, at least at first
